Without a doubt, this is the most useful piece of software on my computer. I use it in nearly every task, every day, and I can't imagine using a computer without it.

The Windows clipboard system allows you to copy one item to memory, and then paste it into an application. If you accidently copy something else, then you have lost the item and have to go copy it again. This is tedious and inefficient.

Yankee Clipper solves this problem by automatically storing everything that is copied to the clipboard and allows you to search for it if you need it later. If you copy something you'd prefer not be saved, you can select it and delete it. The saved clips are organized by plain text, rich text, pictures, and internet addresses.

Yankee Clipper runs in the system tray. To access your stored clips, you simply click the icon and look for the item you want. The memory and resource usage is too small to notice and has no impact on computer performance. On the other hand, your performance will be enhanced greatly.
